— PhotoMax Pro... Best program ever!
Pros: Best program ever!
Cons: Good luck finding it!
Comment: Polaroid PhotoMax Pro ... I don't even remember which polaroid product this little program came with, but I've been using PhotoMax Pro version 1.0 for almost 15 years and it's still chugging along beautifully. All my other programs on Windows have crashed numerous times but PhotoMax Pro has survived three versions of windows and still works like a charm. It almost seems like a mistake, because windows software is supposed to fail, right? I've tried photoshop and other photo editing software, but I find PhotoMax Pro so much easier and quicker to use and it includes all the features that I actually need. Can you believe it... this software was made in 1994 and still works in 2011 on Vista, and handles the pictures from my new digital camera. And the albums feature is also so easy and reliable.
I can't say enough good things about this software so I'll stop now. The only downside is unless you are an archeologist, it's unlikely that you will be able to unearth PhotoMax Pro because it is so ancient. I hope the latest ArcSoft programs are as good, but frankly until my PhotoMax is no longer compatible, that's what I'll be using!
